I'm lonely. I wish I had someone at my side. I miss G. Damn, I really liked him a lot. I really hoped he was going to reach out to me again, if for nothing else but to really explain why he just vanished.
Maybe in another 8 months someone else will come along that I like half as much as I liked G and maybe they will stick around twice at long. =)
I'm off to play from DDR and try to get some exercise/activity in.

Hi, how did you lose so much weight, what do you do for exercise, thanks.
ReplyDeleteFirst and foremost, you have to want to lose it more than anything else. You have to want to lose it more than that piece of birthday cake, going to bed full, or spending that extra hour sleeping rather than exercising.
DeleteSecond, I cut out all soda/juice, junk food, and eating out. As in, I don't even "limit" myself. I just don't bring it into the house. If it isn't around to eat, you won't.
I exercise by walking mainly - hiking in parks around the area. But I also have a tread mill that I'll use if the whether is bad. I also play Dance Dance Revolution.
So basically, want it, eat less, exercise more. It sucks and it takes forever - this is year 4 for me and I still have 33 more pounds to go - but it does come off.
Congratulations, I lost 50lbs in the past but gained it back and now it has been a struggle to lose any weight at all. What is your typical diet like.
ReplyDeleteDrink - Water or unsweet tea. Nothing else. No soda, no juice, no alcohol - too many calories and it doesn't fill you up.
DeleteFood - Rarely eat out or eat fast food. Both have way more calories then they need to. If you want a hamburger, make one yourself for half the calories.
I don't bring snack/junk food into the house. No cake, no cookies, no chips, no candy.
I try to limit myself to 1200 calories a day, so that means loading up on veggies. You can get a lot of them for a small amount of calories. That way you are not as hungry. Limit your carbs, eat protein.
Other than that, I can eat pretty much what I want. If I have a craving for junk food, I eat it, but then I eat less of something else to make up for the extra calories it costs.
Honesty, you find you stop missing a lot of the food you crave once you stop eating it for awhile. You find McDonald's doesn't taste as good as you once thought it did. I can't drink soda anymore - too much carbonation - it hurts to drink it.
I also found that not watching TV helps. Commercials do a good job at making you crave something you shouldn't.
