I simply can't wear my Chantelle bra anymore =(. It is too big. I just washed it and it is hanging up to dry. Once done, I will retire it from service. Which means I'm going to have to start wearing my Valentine's Day bra before Valentine's.
Two things I forgot to put on my list for this month were replacing my yoga pants and getting some new socks. My current yoga pants are falling off. I went to Walmart and picked up 3 new pairs. They are not the greatest but since I only wear them around the house, that is okay. I didn't try them on in the store as there was no one to open the dressing rooms so one pair doesn't fit. It is a XS but I was thinking I could wear it. Can't get it over my butt. So, I'm debating if I want to take it back or just keep it until I can wear it. The question is, will I ever get that small?
I received some hiking socks for Christmas. Hiking socks are not cheap, ranging from 12 to 20 dollars for a pair. But I became quite love enamored with them. So, when I realized that my current collection of socks was getting low and the ones remaining were showing signs of their age, I decided to replace them with hiking socks. Not a cheap investment, but I hope a good one. After some searching around, I managed to find the socks I wanted at the cheapest price of 10.70 a pair. Shipping was $3 but didn't go up as I added more pairs. I ended up purchasing 4 pairs to go with the one I already have. If they hold up, I'll get a few more. I usually wear about 7 or 8 pairs of socks in a week.
I went to the Eye doctor today and got contacts. I thought they wouldn't cost me anything but it was $40 for a contact fitting fee and a one time training session fee of $25. Plus, my insurance only covers 1/2 year worth of contacts. So, I'll have the pay the other half out of pocket.
I am liking the soft contacts because I can't feel them, unlike hard contact lenses. However, the contacts don't correct my astigmatism. I have the opposite trouble with these contacts that I had with the hard ones. These are easy to put in but hard to take out.
I am worried about how the contacts are going to work out. My version is fuzzy with the contacts. I'll need to give it a few days to see if I adjust. I'm also worried about learning to take them out without a lot of hassle. My eyes usually adjust slowly. It took me a few days to get use to my new glasses. I went ahead and got 1/2 years worth of contacts. If I like them, I'll buy more but if not, no money lost because my insurance covered the ones I did order.
I got them to see if I think I look better with or without glasses. My first thought was that my face looks very fat and big without glasses and it didn't look good. But once I put some eye makeup on, which is needed without the glasses, I'm slowly thinking maybe I do look better without them. Or, it could be, it is just different and it will take time to tell.
I got my I POD charger which didn't work. It would cost more to return it then just throw it away so that is what I plan to do. I ordered another one from someplace else. This one works! I also finally ordered a HDMI cable. I fixed my PS3 (the picture is so much better with a HDMI cable) and now my Wii is hooked back up again. Yay, for checking things off my list.
